job assessment tests

Though I graduated from varsity more than half a year gone, I continue to haven’t quite decided what type of job I want to have.

I focused on Business Administration, so there are a selection of fields open to me ; I simply can’t work out what I’d truly like to do with my life. I returned to my college’s job placement center to chat to one of the advisers there, and she recommended that I’m taking a career assessment test to help me pinpoint my interests.

I had never thought about taking a job assessment test before because. I questioned how much good it would do to judge my varied aptitudes now — especially since I already have my degree and everything.

It is not as if I may return to faculty and study Art History or whatever if the career assessment tests shows that I ought to be a museum curator. But the advisor warranted me that folks of every age take these surveys, and that it’s not ever too late to discover where my interests lie.

I ultimately agreed to do so, but then discovered that I’d have to go all of the way back to campus ( a two-and-a-half hour drive ) for it. That did not appeal to me, so instead I got online and checked to work out if I could take a job assessment test that way. Though the questions were different, I got the same result : I’d be most fitted as an office executive of some type. Lots of these resources are totally free, so I’d as well revamp my resume, polish my cover letter, and start my job search anew. Now that I know where to focus my energies, I am assured that I could land a good job sometime shortly. Doing so might just steer you to your dream job.
